Whether or not attending school in the United States is a beneficial and positive experience for our international students largely depends on the homestay arrangement, as the host becomes an active participant in the student’s academic life while tending to school matters on behalf of the student’s parents. HSF is continuously looking for caring host families who are willing to open their hearts and their homes to our students for a semester or longer. While hosting an international student, our hosts and their families will find themselves learning more about the student’s home country and culture than expected. In addition, the student will be learning his/her share about American traditions and values that are unique to your family.
